Al Lamb's Dallas Honda: 2015 Honda VT1300 Fury 1300 ABS
When you ride a VT1300CX ABS Fury, you’re the center of attention – whether you’re cruising through town or out on the open highway. Spanning nearly six feet from axle to axle, this is one long and lean machine. Best of all, you have two Fury custom motorcycles to choose from: Our standard VT1300 CX Fury, or the ABS version for riders who want an added level of stopping control in less-than-ideal environments.
What makes the VT1300CX ABS Fury stand out? Let’s break it down. The standard – if you can call the Fury standard – integrates a single powerful 336mm-diameter front disc brake is complemented by a 296mm rear disc brake. With Honda’s innovative anti-lock brake system (ABS), cruiser motorcycle drivers have the added security and stopping power that only Honda engineering can deliver. After all, the road can throw anything at you – from wet pavement to sand and other debris on the road.
ABS is designed to help custom motorcycle tires achieve optimal deceleration and stopping performance while preventing them from exceeding their limits of grip. As a result, it’s possible to maintain efficient and effective braking control over a wide variety of riding conditions. You have the added confidence when applying brakes in emergency maneuvers or on slippery roads. Simpler braking with the VT1300CX ABS Fury increases any riding enjoyment.

Al Lamb’s Dallas Honda: 2015 Honda FourTrax Foreman 4×4 with EPS
If you want hard-working value, look no further than the Honda Foreman 500. Each four wheeler in the lineup is unmatched, providing proven features like powerful 475cc overhead-valve engines with fuel injection, TraxLok with selectable 2WD/4WD and a dependable five-speed transmission. Need extra help when riding in ruts, over rocks or on long side hills? Then choose the model with Honda’s innovative Electric Power Steering (EPS) with the most breakthrough power steering ever experienced on a four wheeler. Both speed- and torque-sensitive, the EPS system gives the rider the right amount of assist in every type of riding situation including rough terrain.
The TRX500FPM FourTrax’s steering assistance is computer controlled and also adjusts to changes in the ATV’s speed and drive selection. Sophisticated torque and speed sensors measure how much force riders are applying and then tailor how much extra assist is needed. As speed increases, the amount of assistance is reduced to allow the appropriate level of feedback. Plus, Honda FourTrax’s re-designed EPS system greatly reduces kickback through the handlebar in rough or rocky terrain to reduce riding fatigue even more. And three mounting points increase rigidity for a better feel, increased stiffness and enhanced control.
Honda introduced the EPS system on the hard-working Honda Foreman 500 line in 2007, and it’s been a dependable, smart feature since then. With proven Honda engineering, EPS helps keep the feel of the steering consistent so it’s not too light or heavy, regardless of your speed or drive selection. The Honda FourTrax has always been the workhorse of the four wheeler world, the machine smart riders use to get the job done or take on the next great adventure. And for all-terrain maneuverability, adding the available EPS system just makes sense.

Al Lamb’s Dallas Honda: 2014 Honda Stateline 1300
GENERAL INFORMATION
The beauty is in the details. Part of the 1300 Custom Line series, the VT1300CR Stateline boasts impressive bells and whistles, including a low slung profile with blacked-out fins and sweeping bars. Add to that the raked-out forks and fenders over fat front and rear tires. The styling touches on this touring motorcycle will cause quite the stir. And don’t forget the speedometer – nestled in the gorgeous tank-mounted nacelle, it’s the small details on the Stateline that make it a giant in its class.
Beyond its progressive styling, the real beauty of Stateline Chopper is beneath the surface with a massive 1312cc 52° V-twin engine with a single-pin crankshaft and dual balancers that deliver plenty of torque and power. The VT1300CR Stateline’s fuel injection system means optimal performance in any condition – from chilly mornings to high altitudes. Even with this much power, this machine can still reel itself in with front and rear disc brakes.
With the unique, retro-cool look of a Stateline Custom and the engineering only Honda can deliver – the VT1300CR Stateline is the ultimate package in a chopper bike. Al Lamb’s Dallas Honda: Team Honda Ready for the 2015 Supercross Season
Al Lamb’s Dallas Honda -- On November 17, 2014, American Honda officially announced and introduced the 2015 Team Honda lineup at the Castillo Ranch Supercross track during a press event. The spotlight fixated on factory riders Trey Canard and Cole Seely for the race program’s profile, as the team prepares and enthusiastically counts down the days for the 2015 AMA Supercross season.
Honda Team Manager, Dan Betley, kicked off the day’s press event highlighting the triumphant 2014 season finale and reviewing the off-season developments for continuous advancements of the race program. In conjunction with outlining modified processes, Betley announced new personnel, consisting of two significant HRC principals, Motocross Representative Director, Keisuke Inomoto, and Motocross Technical Director, Yasuhiro Yokoyama.
“We’re very excited with the path we’re on right now,” Betley said. “We started from a solid foundation as we headed into the off-season, and since then we’ve worked hard and intelligently. Testing is going well, and with the increased support we’re receiving from HRC, we’re already seeing measureable improvements with the bike and program. We’ll continue working hard right up until the first round of 2015.”
Betley continued on to applaud returning team member, Canard, who has remained with Team Honda throughout his entire 450 career, and welcomed premier-class rookie, Seely, to the Honda Team.
Canard reflected on his long-standing affiliation with Honda in pride and aspirations for the future:
“I’m really proud to continue my long relationship with Honda,” Canard said. “It was great to finish out the 2014 season on a high note, but I’m even more excited for what’s to come. The bike is working better than ever, and it’s amazing to see the team firing on all cylinders. Everyone is really motivated, and we’re expecting great things in 2015.”
Seely exuded whole-hearted enthusiasm and passion:
“It’s an honor to be a part of a team with such an incredible history,” he said. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with Team Honda as a substitute rider, but it’s cool to get to officially be a part of it and to see everyone in preparation mode over the off-season. I’ve been working really hard on my fitness, and I can’t wait for January to come.”
Canard and Seely congregated with media representatives for one-on-one interviews and photos after the introductions and technical overview of the 2015 Team Honda CRF450R. Canard and Seely ended the event with photos on the trackand video sessions for the commentators and team sponsors.
The 2015 AMA Supercross season is scheduled for kick off on January 3rd, 2015 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim by Team Honda.
